Nexus6 Renamed to Adherium; Prepares for Rapid International Expansion
Digital health company Nexus6 Limited has changed its name to Adherium as it moves into a phase of rapid growth and international expansion.
Following the publication of a number of independent clinical outcome studies demonstrating that the company’s Smartinhaler™ product range increases medication adherence in asthma by 59% in adults and 180% in children, the company has adopted the new name Adherium.
“Adherium is the company where innovative solutions that increase adherence to prescribed therapies are created” said Adherium Group Chief Executive Garth Sutherland.
“The World Health Organisation has stated that improving adherence to existing therapies will do more for global population health than any new medical discovery. Adherium is at the forefront of innovative digital health technologies which improve adherence and as our business expands internationally, we believe ‘Adherium’ best represents who we are as a company.”
The company name change will take effect immediately as the company gears up for a series of major announcements in international markets in the near future.
